I hope you enjoyed my presentation you heard on either radio or television or have read in emails and the internet. As you can tell, I am extremely passionate about health and nutrition. That is why over the years, I have become extremely frustrated at all of the junk I hear about health and nutrition. It’s amazing, but much of the familiar advice you hear is wrong, dead wrong.

I’m here to tell you through proper nutrition, that virtually every disease can be prevented, helped, or even eliminated with safe, effective, and inexpensive methods. It is sad and ironic that despite the fact that the U.S. spends more money per person that any other country in the world on health care, that we are leading the world in almost every disease statistic ranging from heart disease to diabetes to cancer.

It’s a crime that the leading cause of death in children age 14 and under, other than accidents is cancer, and that we have the highest infant death rate of any industrialized country. What is even more amazing to me is that so many of these problems can be so easily solved.

I have even had tremendous results in helping children with Attention Deficit Disorder, in not having to use class two drugs, which by the way, are the same category as morphine and opium. A lot of people don’t realize that Ritalin is similar to cocaine. It is a very powerful drug and should only be used as a last resort. Ritalin and other drugs, as far as I am concerned, are victimizing over ten million children.

I have helped men to successfully deal with Prostate problems, infertility and impotency without drugs. It is absolutely amazing what can be done through proper nutrition. Many of you have probably attended one of the seminars for which I have been privileged to speak. I’m blessed to have regularly appeared on the same platform with Former President and Barbara Bush, Larry King, General Schwarzkopf, General Colin Powell, and Bill Cosby, to name a few. Over the years I have spoken to over 1,000,000 people at live seminars and appeared on thousands of radio and television broadcasts. One evening after a seminar my wife and I were asked to have dinner with President Bush. The former President even asked me questions about health. What I am trying to do in telling you this, is to let you know that when I share health and nutrition information with you, it is accurate. So just to get your attention let me inform you or several statistics:

• There are 2.4 million unnecessary surgeries performed in the U.S. every year with more than 12,000 people dying as a result of these procedures.
• Approximately 300,000 balloon angioplasties are performed in the U.S. each year. Yet not one study has shown this dangerous procedure to be any more effective than non-surgical treatment.
• Studies show up to 70% of mammograms are incorrect.
• At the age of 60, 37% of the population takes 5 or more prescription drugs daily.
• Did you know that 40% of all hysterectomies performed in the U.S. over the last ten years were unnecessary?
• Prescription drugs cause Sixty percent of impotency.
• The Vioxx debacle; that one expert claims to have caused 139,000 deaths and serious injuries.
• Antidepressants; causing suicide in children.
• Recently the pharmaceutical industry, which is suffering from bad press, (by the way, bad press tends to happen when you kill people), has been struggling to find new drugs. “It sees cancer drugs as a well spring of opportunity” for increasing profits, they want to make cancer a manageable chronic disease like diabetes. That way they can keep people on these new drugs for years if not decades. (Financial times, October 6th, 2005 “ New broom waits to sweep through the FDA” page 8) This statement is so amazing it needed to be referenced.
• Statin drugs cause cancer and they deplete your heart of Co Enzyme Q -10.  Statin drugs actually cause heart disease. This scandal will dwarf Vioxx!

It is amazing to me that most people demand more information when buying a used car than when they use prescription drugs or agree to surgery. Let’s look at the 500,000 Americans who undergo coronary by-pass surgery each year at an incredible cost of 15 billion dollars. Up to 10,000 of these patients die during the procedures: while a staggering 40% are so debilitated by this procedure they never return to work or to a normal life.
